Rethinking autonomy for remote territories

Camitech Énergies tackles this mission on several fronts at once. Each division develops in parallel a specific aspect of remote-territory autonomy.

Five fronts in service of a single mission

Each Camitech Énergies division operates as an autonomous entity. This structure lets several ambitions mature in parallel rather than concentrating effort on a single product. All remain guided by the same mission of autonomy for remote territories.

01

Caron Mobile

Cross the territory

Caron Mobile designs tracked vehicles for regions where the roads end. Its lineup targets the demands of Canada’s Far North and the terrain that conventional vehicles cannot reach.

Every vehicle combines light weight, autonomy, and the ability to cross hard terrain. Caron Mobile aims to make field operations possible in places where they previously were not.

02

Cami Habitation

Live where it’s hard

Cami Habitation designs housing solutions for regions where site constraints set the rules. Climate, remoteness, and limited infrastructure are design inputs, not problems to fix after the fact.

Cami Habitation approaches each project by starting from the environment rather than imposing a standard model. The resulting habitats are adapted to the territory they occupy and built to last in extreme conditions.

Focus areas: Design • Site-adapted design

03

PowerTower

Generate power on site

PowerTower designs energy systems for isolated sites. The core idea is to produce energy where it is consumed, without relying on remote infrastructure.

PowerTower is currently exploring several technologies adapted to the constraints of the North. The long-term ambition is to make field operations energetically autonomous, regardless of their location.

Focus area: Applied energy systems

04

Cami Recycle

Loop materials locally

Cami Recycle wants to turn local waste into raw materials that can be used on site. The logic is to close material cycles locally rather than exporting them south at high cost.

Cami Recycle is exploring several recovery methods adapted to the modest but constant volume of waste produced by isolated sites. The goal is to turn what is currently treated as a logistical problem into a local resource.

Focus areas: Material recovery

05

Cami Automation

Automate field operations

Cami Automation designs systems for field operations that do not need constant human presence. Motorization, control, and management work together to free teams from repetitive or dangerous tasks.

Cami Automation is exploring how to reduce dependence on humans without sacrificing reliability in contexts where maintenance is costly. The goal is to make certain operations economically viable when they would not be with constant human presence.

Vision

Building autonomy step by step

Remote regions deserve better than last-minute adapted solutions. Camitech Énergies addresses this challenge on five fronts at once, building the tools that autonomy needs to become real on the ground.
